Kathleen has been a client for 20 years and looks forward to everyday at the program. The staff is amazing, always having the clients happiness and well-being their first priority. Fervian is very happy at the Adult Center. Fervian loves going in the community. He has opportunity to go out to eat, shopping and to the park. Fervian enjoys being with his friends and opportunities to continue learning.

My son, Xzavier, has been involved in the therapeutic horseback riding program at NJEDDA and we both love it! Whenever, I show him his medal his face lights up with a huge smile. I have been coming to the Center since May 1996. I am very happy to be here. The physical and occupational therapies have made me stronger. I have learned to keep in touch with family and friends through Facebook and email and have had opportunities to visit them. I enjoy volunteering in the community. My son Daniel had been attending the Toddler Playgroup for the past few months. Seeing my son in an environment that is safe and allows him to be engaged and unwind in a variety of activities makes me feel very happy. Daniel is able to play with his peers better and adhere to the structure of the group. It really has been a blessing to be able to participate in this toddler group with him. It feels like we are part of a family.

NJEDDA is truly a special place with happy, passionate, and motivated staff at every level. The warmth is felt as soon as one enters the front doors. Admissions

Toddler Program – Children attend at no cost to parents. Children can be referred by family members, parents, physicians and others. For more information, please call (973) 772-2600.

School Programs – Students are referred by their local school district child study team and attend at no cost to parents. For more information, please call (973) 772-2600 ext. 100 (Elementary School), or (973) 772-2600 ext. 221 (High School).

Adult Services – Adults ages 21 and over are referred through the Division of Developmental Disabilities. For more information, please call (973) 772-2600 ext. 310.
