Dear High School Parents and Guardians,

We have become aware that a staff member has tested positive for Covid 19. As a precaution, our high school will be closed for direct instruction starting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 23 until Monday, October 5.

We will continue with remote instruction during this closure.

Please continue to monitor your sons and daughters for symptoms, go for Covid 19 testing, if necessary, and call us with any positive test results.

Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Dr. William Weiss
Executive Director

NJEDDA Schools are planning for a FULL DAY in person opening for all students on Monday, SEPTEMBER 14, 2020.

Please note: Our opening and closing status will always depend on Covid 19 guidance from the State of New Jersey and the Clifton health department, as well as our sending districts’ ability to transport our students back and forth from their homes.

We are all concerned about the coronavirus. We wanted to reassure parents, guardians and staff that we are following universal precautions to prevent the spread of illnesses. These precautions include the wearing of protective gloves, frequent hand washing, and cleaning areas with disinfectants.

We are in daily communication with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and State and local Departments of Health and will follow all of their guidelines and directives for our children and adults.

Students and adults with a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing should stay home and consult with their doctor concerning treatment. We are communicating with the Department of Education and we will submit to them emergency home instruction plans in case the Department of Health institutes a program closure.

We will continue to communicate with you by Instant Alert and mailings during this time. Please send us any new phone numbers and email addresses you would like us to use.

If you have any questions please call us at 973-772-2600. Thank you!
